Mueller


Mueller is a vibrant, master-planned community located 3 miles northeast of downtown Austin. Transformed from the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, this 700-acre development seamlessly blends residential living with commercial spaces, parks, and cultural attractions. It’s a nationally renowned model for sustainable urban design and community-centric living.

History

Named after a 1920s Austin city councilman, the area served as the city’s airport until 1999. Redevelopment began in 2007, focusing on creating a walkable, mixed-use neighborhood. Today, Mueller stands as a testament to thoughtful urban planning, emphasizing sustainability, diversity, and community engagement.

Community Events: The Texas Farmer’s Market is a great way to get out of the house, try some local foods and meet neighbors! It happens every Sunday from 10am-2pm rain or shine.

Mueller Lake Park also features regular outdoor concerts with local musicians.
